Why Christmas Celebrated on the 25th of December?

Christmas is one of the biggest Christian festivals. It has grown beyond religion and is now celebrated by non-Christians worldwide as well. It’s celebrated on the 25th of December annually but why?
It commonly believed that the 25th of December is the birthday of Jesus Christ but that is not the case! Nowhere in the Bible is it mentioned the exact day of Jesus’s birth, in fact, even the year isn’t known! He was not born in year zero but was likely born between 7BC and 2BC.

Christmas comes from the words ‘Christ’ and ‘Mass’, meaning the day the Mass of Christ is held. The mass is to celebrate the birth of Jesus but not his actual birthday. Pope Julius, I officially declared that the celebration of the birth of Jesus would be on the 25th December, somewhere between years 335 CE and 345 CE. Little did he know it would spread to so many cultures and religions.
